How to Unlock Slipping Up
One badly timed peel can earn you a badge instead of just ruining your escape. To unlock Banana Eats Slipping Up, get eaten by Banana after slipping on a peel. Slipping alone doesn’t complete the requirement—you need the encounter to end with Banana eating you.
Attempt this while playing as a runner. You’re aiming to become the trap’s victim, so placing peels as Banana won’t satisfy the objective.
- Find a peel during the round. Look along your route, especially near small wall passages where Banana can place traps.
- Wait until Banana is nearby. Use your beacon to judge proximity, then look around to locate Banana before stepping onto the peel.
- Walk onto the peel and let the slip happen. Make sure you actually trip rather than simply crossing the trap.
- Let Banana finish eating you. A bite you survive isn’t the same as being eaten. Aim to connect the slip and elimination in the same encounter.
Slipping Up is a permanent badge, separate from limited-time objectives such as Banana's Basement of SECRETS. The Halloween basement challenge involves finding a key, surviving until the exits open, escaping, and collecting eight cake pieces downstairs. Keep that route separate from this attempt: the peel badge’s requirement centers on slipping and being eaten, without a key hunt or basement cake collection.
Play Banana Eats on Roblox to attempt the badge.
Use Peel Traps to Set Up the Encounter
Peels briefly stun runners and reveal their location to Banana. That makes a trap useful for this objective: the slip both interrupts your movement and tells the hunter where to find you.

For a deliberate attempt, choose a peel Banana can reach easily. A trap across the map leaves you waiting for the hunter to arrive, while one near an active chase gives you a more direct opportunity.
Your beacon helps narrow down the timing. A stronger glow means Banana is closer, but it doesn’t pinpoint the hunter’s exact position. Look around before committing instead of relying on the glow alone.
Listen for footsteps alongside the beacon’s warning. Banana’s footsteps provide another cue when the hunter is close. Slipping also produces a sound other players can hear, so the trap does more than interrupt your movement: it makes the encounter audible to everyone.
Small wall passages deserve particular attention. Runners can use them to escape, and Banana can place peels near their entrances. For this badge attempt, watch those approaches for an opportunity to slip with the hunter close behind.
Banana is too tall to follow runners through those small openings. Check which side of the passage the hunter occupies before choosing a trap. Step onto a peel on an accessible approach rather than putting the wall passage between yourself and Banana immediately after the slip.
Avoid Attempts That Miss the Requirement
The important distinction is between tripping, taking a bite, and being eaten. Keep these mistakes in mind:

- Escaping after the slip: Surviving the encounter leaves the badge’s elimination requirement unfinished.
- Getting bitten without tripping: Contact with Banana doesn’t replace the peel requirement.
- Crossing a peel under temporary protection: The shield following a bite can prevent you from slipping. Wait until that protection ends before trying another trap.
A surviving bite also gives runners a temporary speed boost. During an ordinary escape, that boost and shield let you reach a small passage and cross a peel without falling. For this attempt, watch for the protection to expire before stepping onto a trap; running across one while shielded skips the slip you need.
If you take a bite and remain alive, look for your next opportunity once the protective effect wears off. Step onto a reachable peel with Banana nearby, then let the hunter complete the elimination.
