The Banana Eats ghosdeeri pumpkin is an unlock to look for during your collection hunt. Halloween also brings The Hollow’s limited-time challenge to Banana’s Basement. That event gives you a specific objective: escape with a key, then finish an eight-piece cake hunt.

Banana Eats combines hiding, puzzle solving, and escaping once the exits open. Surviving earns coins, and the game has over 500 playable skins to unlock. Servers hold up to 10 players, so the limited keys are something to watch for while sharing the map with other survivors. You can play on Desktop, Mobile, Xbox, and PlayStation 5.

The Halloween activities extend into The Hollow’s event hub. Its day-six objectives include a floor-six puzzle reward, a secret-room item tied to the Banana Eats badge, and a separate main item connected to Animal Hospital.

Find a Key and Escape the Round

Getting into the haunted basement starts with surviving a regular round:

1. Find a key during the round. Keys are limited, and picking one up removes that key from other players’ reach.
2. Stay alive until the exits open. Complete puzzles around the map to bring the exits closer, but protect your run once you have a key.
3. Escape without getting caught. Dying means repeating the key-and-survival sequence.
4. Enter the open door and head downstairs to Banana’s haunted basement.

Grab a key early, then prioritize survival. Take on tasks when you have room to maneuver; getting caught loses the progress you need for basement access.

Keep the two objectives in mind while moving through the round: you need the key for the door and a successful escape to continue. Completing tasks speeds up the exits, but dying sends you back through the sequence. Skip a risky task when protecting your key run matters more than shortening the wait.

Finish the Basement Cake Hunt

Inside the basement, search for cake pieces and bring them to the plate.

Place all eight pieces to trigger a cutscene and earn the Banana Eats badge. Search systematically rather than circling the same area, and keep track of where you have already collected pieces.

If you’re also working through The Hollow’s day-six rewards, return to the event hub afterward. Head back to the secret area on floor six and claim its item with the Banana Eats badge earned. The floor-six puzzle reward has its own objective: gather the white, pink, and red ingredients in that order, add them to the cauldron, and bring the resulting relic to the elevator.

If that puzzle gets stuck, rejoin and try again. The Hollow’s rooms change when you rejoin, so expect a different layout while following the same brewing solution. Find the puzzle room again before gathering its ingredients.

Visit the event shop before tackling the remaining activities. The first shop item and the Roblox Plus item each have a timer of about eight hours. Start those timers early so they run while you complete the badge challenges.

For the separate day-six main item, continue into Animal Hospital:

1. Enter the new Hollow portal. Begin the first shift by checking in every patient, then visit the treatment rooms.
2. Follow the large TV’s instructions. Treatments depend on what each patient needs. For example, eye drops are found in the hallway.
3. Finish the first shift. Treating all patients unlocks the second shift.
4. Find the NPC with the vacuum. Use it to remove the pink slimes around the building, collecting the pictures hidden inside some of them.
5. Complete the sliding puzzle. After cleaning up all the slime and gathering every picture, head down to the main area. Picture placement differs between players, so move the pieces until the puzzle is solved.
6. Finish the second shift’s patient work. Check in and treat all patients again.
7. Return to the main lobby. Speak with the NPC who returns to receive the Animal Hospital badge, then go back to The Hollow’s event hub to claim the main day-six item.
