Banana Eats Items Guide: Beacons, Skins, and Traps

What Do Items Do in Banana Eats?

Your beacon can warn you that Banana is close before a chase starts. This Banana Eats items guide explains the equipment, puzzle objects, and purchasable extras you’ll encounter while surviving or hunting. Learn their roles so you can respond to danger, finish objectives, and choose purchases for the features you actually want.

The main distinctions are straightforward:

  • Beacons warn survivors when Banana is nearby.
  • Banana peel traps make survivors slip.
  • Puzzle objects help survivors reduce the round timer.
  • Skins and effects change appearances, sounds, or elimination visuals.
  • Reward passes provide specific coin or daily-reward benefits.

Read your beacon while moving

Survivors carry a beacon on their back. It glows brighter when Banana gets close, giving you a warning while you search for puzzle pieces or move between rooms.

Watch its brightness before committing to a puzzle. If it brightens, look for an escape route rather than staying focused on the objective.

Beacon skins let you change its appearance. Baby Beacon packs each contain three exclusive beacon skins; choose a pack for the designs you want.

Place peels along escape routes

Banana can place peel traps to make survivors slip. Vents and exits are useful places to consider because survivors use them to evade pursuit or leave the map.

Place traps along those routes, then keep searching for survivors. As a survivor, check your path through narrow passages and near exits before rushing forward.

The Slipping Up badge requires being eaten by Banana after slipping on a peel. Slipping and getting eaten are separate parts of that condition.

Cake Pieces and Other Puzzle Objects

Puzzle items help survivors bring the escape phase closer. Completing puzzles reduces the timer, but completion also produces a loud sound and a red puzzle-piece icon that Banana can see.

Move away after finishing an objective instead of lingering beside it.

Cake pieces

Find the main cake, collect the scattered cake pieces, and bring them back to it. Completing the cake puzzle removes 60 seconds from the timer.

Locate the main cake early so you know where to deliver pieces you find during the round.

Jumbled blocks

Rearrange the blocks to complete the picture. Designs include a cake or a banana peel trap. Completing this puzzle removes 30 seconds.

Code tablet and number puzzle

Find the small tablet displaying a three-digit code, then enter that combination at the number puzzle. Each digit uses a number from 1–7, and clicking a number increases it.

Remember the code in order before leaving the tablet. Solving the puzzle removes 30 seconds.

Red valves

Work through the three red valves. Repeated clicks advance each valve’s meter, with green indicators marking progress. Completing all three removes 30 seconds.

Check which valves still need work before spending time at one that is already finished.

Banana Skins, Beacon Packs, and Effects

Banana Eats offers over 500 playable skins. Purchasing 10 skins earns the Bunch of Bunches badge, so keep that requirement separate from the number of packs you buy.
