How to Get the Orange You Glad Badge

The Banana Eats Orange You Glad challenge turns a lucky fruit find into a survival test. Pick up the rare orange, then survive the current round without dropping it or getting eaten. Finish that run successfully to earn both the badge and its accompanying beacon.

Here’s the unlock sequence:

1. Enter a round as a survivor. There’s a very small chance that an orange will spawn somewhere on the map.
2. Find the orange. Its location is random, so search while keeping clear of Banana.
3. Walk close to it to pick it up. Finding it alone doesn’t complete the challenge.
4. Keep carrying it and survive until the round ends. Dropping the orange or getting eaten prevents you from earning the badge that round.
5. Return to the main lobby. The badge notification should appear after your successful run.

The orange is an actual piece of fruit you collect during a match. Watch for it as you move around the map, but keep checking your surroundings: searching doesn’t pause the killer’s patrol.

Because both its appearance and location depend on chance, a previous find doesn’t give you a fixed spot to revisit. Search different parts of the map during your survivor rounds instead of waiting at one location.

Surviving the Round With the Orange

Once you’ve picked up the orange, make staying alive your priority. You can find a hiding place or continue solving puzzles while avoiding Banana; the challenge requires you to keep the fruit and survive.

Choose your next move around the immediate danger:

• Hide when searching would expose you. After collecting the orange, you no longer need to hunt for the badge item.
• Work on puzzles when you have room to do so. Keep watching for Banana while helping your team progress toward escape.
• Avoid risky detours. Protect the run you already have instead of continuing to explore for the orange.
• Hold on to the fruit through the round’s end. Picking it up briefly isn’t enough.

Getting eaten and dropping the orange are both failed attempts, even if you found it early in the match. Keep it with you until you finish the round, then look for the reward notification when you return to the lobby. The successful attempt awards the Orange You Glad badge and beacon together.
